Yes, you are helping me.  I just turned 65 and recently spent 8 months as a volunteer with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) leading a school in the College of Counseling and Health Care called Introduction to Biblical Counseling.  I also led the outreach for 3 months to a Crow Indian Reservation in Lodge Grass, Montana.
 
I just wanted to tell you that I appreciate all of your efforts in behalf of the people in our age group who have an avid interest in missions.  I plan to purchase the new book entitled "The Second Half Adventure" and appreciate all that you do.  Sarah.

 

In both our Finishers Forums and our church seminars  we offer some help on mobilizing other Boomers in our churches.  We all know from personal experience and observation that most Boomers want to finish well and make a difference at this stage of life.  In our workshops we explain several approaches to helping our peers connect with each other and with ministry roles that fit our interests and passions. 

 

One way to help discover the interests of Boomers in your congregation is to ask them to answer three simple questions.  Then, by grouping the responses, you have an interest platform upon which those people can build and discover together new expressions of ministry in order to make a difference.

 

Sometime around the middle of November we will be moving from our current office space.  Our Arizona staff will be officing from their homes just as Nelson and Paulette have been doing.
