The Most Important
Day
of our
Year!
A recent Barna update states that only 42% of
Americans understand that Easter is related to the
resurrection of Jesus and only 2% describe it
as the most important holiday of their
faith.
Paul
reminds us in 1 Corinthians 15:13-14, "If there is
no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ
has been raised. And if Christ has not been
raised, our preaching is useless and so is your
faith."
This
month we celebrated the most important day of our
faith! I trust you did it with the
enthusiasm it deserves. Sure...we celebrated
with others in our church...we enjoyed getting
together with the family...maybe even had fun with
an Easter egg hunt...but let's make sure, if we
haven't already, to make it clear that this is the
day that makes it all real. Re-read the
Easter story together and celebrate the marvelous,
world changing words of the angel...
He is not here. He is
Risen! |
| Final Days
to Register for the
Albuquerque Forum!
If you have been considering attending the Forum
in Albuquerque, now is the time to register on
line. In just 2 ½ weeks we'll gather for
this Friday evening and Saturday weekend designed
to help us discover new opportunities to make a
difference for our Lord. Bob Blincoe, the
U.S. Director of Frontiers will be speaking to
us. There are 18 breakout sessions dealing
with the practical issues we face as we invest our
lives. There will be over 20 ministry
organizations with whom we can talk about future
ministry opportunities.
So...don't miss this unique opportunity.
This is the only Forum scheduled for this part of
the country for this year. Take advantage of
the early registration fee, good until Monday,
April 12. Click on the link in the left-hand
column...and take a step of faith and
courage! |

There are more than a dozen new ministry
organizations which have joined Finishers
representing a great variety of new opportunities
for you. Take a look on our site at the list
of ministry agencies. Take a moment to
update your profile to discover new possibilities.
A new
feature is our Proposal For Service option.
With it you can create a ministry role suited to
your skills and gifting, allow our partner
ministries to view your proposal and discuss how
you could work together to make that a
reality.

to encourage you to join the Finishers Project Fan
Page. It's different from the Group Page, allowing
us to better communicate with you and get feedback
from you. You are part of the story as we serve
adult Christians while they discover
short-term, part-time or second career ministry
opportunities.
You can read more about our upcoming events such
as Finishers Forums and Journey Deepens Retreats
on our Fan Page so please share the Fan Page with
your friends. At the end of April we will phase
out the Group Page and concentrate on the Fan
Page.
