Questions on Sponsoring/Participating Churches
Q: WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BEING A SPONSORING CHURCH?
A: Sponsoring Churches are entitled to one free booth (two reps pay the standard rep fee of $49/rep). They must still register as an exhibitor and write in the Comments field that the registration is for [name of the church], a Sponsoring Church. For additional benefits, please see Guidelines for a Sponsoring Church (pg 16 of the Church Plan Guide) and view the information on the Benefits of Becoming a Sponsoring Church.
Q: IS THERE A WEB PAGE FOR SPONSORING CHURCHES TO VISIT TO GATHER MORE INFORMATION ON THEIR SPECIFIC DUTIES? IS THERE AN ONLINE VIDEO FOR THEM TO VIEW?
A: Yes. There is a page set up specifically spelling out the Benefits and the Commitment for Sponsoring Churches and a MissionNext Forum video is available on the home page of each forum.
Q: WHAT IS A PARTICIPATING CHURCH?
A: Churches that do not desire to or cannot commit to being a Sponsoring Church, but would still like to participate, are referred to as Participating Churches. The local Leadership Team should seek to identify an advocate in each of these churches that will function just as the Church Coordinator does in a Sponsoring church. If that is not possible, a participating church should agree to receive the promotional materials and use them as they see fit.
